Dear Prospective University Tutor Students and Parents,
My first impression in joining University Tutor was that of intrigue and excitement because it is a great chance to secure an independent teaching position in education and demonstrate my dedication to remaining involved in the future of a varied population of students and their families.
I earned a Bachelor of Science, Biology, in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) on June 2007 and, also, I am a recent graduate of medical school, earning a Doctor of Medicine Degree at Ross University School of Medicine on June 2013.
A summary of my qualifications shows that my educational background and expertise match any subjects dealing with the Sciences: (1) Elementary Science, (2) Biology, (3) Microbiology, (4) Genetics, (5) Physiology, (6) Anatomy, and (7) Pharmacology.
For instance, while earning my Bachelor of Science in Biology at UCR, I took courses in the Biological Sciences, such as Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Genetics, Population Genetics, Neuroscience, Comparative Virology, Cancer Biology, and Evolution. I was also recognized as an excellent Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Plant Pathology. Throughout my basic sciences in medical school, I have taken numerous courses that can aid me in effectively teaching any field in the Sciences. These courses include Microscopic/Gross Anatomy, Biochemistry and Genetics, Medical Physiology, Microbiology and Immunology, Pathology/Clinical Medicine Pathology, Pharmacology/Clinical Medicine Microbiology, Behavioral Science, and Doctor, Patient & Society.
Moreover, I am also capable of tutoring (8) Math (Elementary and Algebra), (9) Kindergarten - 8th Grade, (10) Study Skills, (11) Organization, and (12) English. I am an enthusiastic and well-read instructor who demonstrates a diverse knowledge and mastery of the skills in numerous subjects.
Further qualifications I provide include the following:
• Maintain the highest standards within a different range of teaching functions
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Present facilitative, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and educational activities consistent with the course
computation, problem solving, and decision-making.
• Teaching experience while helping other colleagues in the basic sciences
• Successful case presentations to medical professionals in different hospital institutions
As a University Tutor Instructor, I truly believe I can provide the determined University Tutor students with the foundation to obtain the necessary knowledge and aptitude to succeed in their field of study and, along the way, show them work habits, study and organization skills that can shape their dreams into reality.
I would gladly welcome a chance to have personal tutoring experiences with avid students who need a small nudge to succeed not only in school but also in life.
